Each year, C & H produces several varieties of heirloom corn. We are proud to supply commercial distilleries, hobby distillers, bakers and other growers in the form of seed. Our corn is raised using sustainable agricultural practices and we are the largest heirloom variety corn producer in our region.

Over the years we have produced Hickory King White, Otto File Flint, Indian Corn, and Bloody Butcher. Bloody Butcher is our best seller, and growing in popularity each year. Since 1845, Bloody Butcher has been used by both distillers and bakers alike. Originating in the Appalachian mountains of Virginia, it is very well suited to our soil type and climate producing stalks up to 13-foot with two ears. At one time this variety was on the verge of extinction which is one of the many reasons why we are proud to produce it. Check out our photo gallery for recent pictures of our grain.
